L7 Creative guided E3 Housing Solutions in creating a subscription-based training and supportive services model for the HUD housing industry. First, E3 Housing Solutions would need to position their for-profit brand as the leader in 360° Compliance Training™ for those who own or operate HUD housing. Next, they needed an intuitive application to enhance operational efficiency and replace the logistical challenges of their in-person training. L7 Creative accomplished both of those critical tasks by designing an immersive digital experience that has since been emulated across the industry.
The L7 Brand Blueprint™ and L7 Marketing Machine™ helped us develop their brand positioning, define target demographics and craft a comprehensive marketing plan to solidify their business model. By combining eCommerce and eLearning, we designed an innovative subscription-based learning portal that encouraged users to easily enroll in courses, monthly webinars, annual subscriptions, and receive certificates of completion.

Our next challenge was to craft a unique user experience that would embody E3 Housings Solutions’ brand and resonate with their target audience. Leveraging existing technology was the best path to success for their learning platform, with WordPress plugins like WooCommerce and LearnDash providing a solid foundation for eCommerce and eLearning.
Using a handful of features available from these technologies, we customized and extended the functionality rather than reinventing the wheel. We created a new theme for WordPress that provides additional configuration opportunities, new components, templates and styling options that blended WooCommerce and LearnDash into a single, cohesive system. Users can now subscribe to video courses and manage their accounts through their own personalized dashboard.
Training Videos & Webinars
We really started to generate some traction with their monthly webinars. We successfully exceeded their revenue goal by launching monthly webinars, regularly promoting these in a series of drips emails, and automating the enrollment process.
Spreading the Word on a Trailblazing Concept
Having established the video training and eCommerce infrastructure for E3 Housing Solutions, the next step was to create awareness and generate interest in the offering. Using email marketing and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising we both got the attention of the industry directly and created a buzz that led to significant word-of-mouth advertising.
