With the cost of weddings skyrocketing, Wedgewood Weddings saw an opportunity to expand their unique ValSerVenience® model. They promptly called on L7 Creative to help them embark on a national expansion of their wedding services.
A disruptive business model called for a new way to market. To prepare Wedgewood Weddings for success and to support their innovative “ValSerVenience®” positioning, we started with our proprietary L7 Brand Workshop. Next came a significant brand overhaul with “The Smarter Way to Say I Do” tagline anchoring the new brand and digital strategies.
Staying consistent with Wedgewood Weddings’ updated brand positioning, we revamped their brand identity – starting with a new logo, color palette, and print collateral. To accompany their fresh look, we designed and developed a new website using Drupal 8 technology which included phenomenal UX and UI design. Bringing it full circle, we developed a digital marketing strategy to ensure a steady stream of leads was always at their door.

A New Brand Design
The updated Wedgewood Weddings logo and taglines conveyed the uniqueness of their positioning and formed the foundation of a powerful Wedgewood Weddings positioning. Starting with the mark, we combined the most representative element in a wedding: the ring and locked the Wedgewood Weddings “W’s” in an elegant and contemporary design. The size of the diamond has been increased intentionally: “With Wedgewood Weddings you can now afford a bigger diamond.”

Business System & Collateral
L7 Creative designed a professional and impactful Business System to communicate Wedgewood Weddings’ new corporate Identity.
We developed the Wedgewood Weddings Package Brochure to support the marketing and sales team in their selling process. Next, we created the Wedgewood Weddings pricing sheet/wedding planning tool template. The updated piece walks the bride through pricing, and educates her on our clients’ unique price model. The bride can now come away with a clear understanding of the advantages of the Wedgewood Weddings experience and know how to budget for her wedding.
Improved User Experience, Powerful Content Management, and Lead Generation
Wedgewood Weddings came to L7 Creative with a desire to provide an optimal way for potential customers to explore, compare, and contrast their 30+ event venues across the country. Not only did they seek to improve the overall user experience, they sought to improve their experience as content creators.
We moved our client away from their proprietary content management system and into an open source CMS. Drupal 8 offered the scalability needed for their backlog of desired features. We strategized with them on how to model their data in a way that would be scalable and provide rich options for sorting and filtering of venues.
Integrating with Google Maps API provided us with the ability dynamically add location markers that linked to their associated venue pages. New marketing opportunities were created across their website by giving them the ability to create, modify, and replace blocks of content — all from within their new CMS. New image galleries and slideshows could be managed from within their CMS and provided users with a rich set of tools that enabled visual discovery.
